Getting started is easy. Save time by handling a few items before you visit.

Download and complete forms: one-page health questionnaire, financial responsibility, consent to care, and HIPAA acknowledgment.
Bring photo ID and insurance card if you plan to use insurance; HSA and FSA accepted.
We do not take X-rays on site; if needed, Dr. Herr will refer you to trusted imaging partners.
Parking is free, and bus stops are close by near Erie Community College on the Wehrle Drive side, about a block from Stumps Gymnastics on Wehrle Drive.

What Happens at Your First Visit

Plan for 30-45 minutes. After a brief paperwork review, Dr. Herr performs a spinal exam with palpation, range of motion, and reflex testing, plus neurological tests if needed. You’ll get a mini report of findings. If you’d like to begin care, you can usually receive your first adjustment the same day. Gentle options like Activator Methods, flexion-distraction, stretching, and cold laser therapy may be used.

After Your First Visit and Financials

Most follow-ups take about 10-15 minutes, making it easy to stay consistent. Fees are comparable to other local offices, sometimes a bit lower, and our financial policy is simple and transparent. We accept virtually all major insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid; you’re responsible for charges your plan doesn’t cover. HSA and FSA cards are welcome. No new patient special is offered at this time.
